Nameplate Distribution Artwork Information

General Information

In order to create your name badges, plaques, awards and other items, we may require that you send us artwork of your logo, or logo-type. We strongly prefer receiving artwork via electronic submission. Artwork can be uploaded to our web site during the setup process for most orders via our File Upload Page. We will also accept email submissions of artwork at artwork@nameplatedistribution.com.

If your art files are very large, or you do not have a high speed internet connection, you may send artwork via snail mail on either a 3 ½ inch floppy diskette or CD-ROM. WE DO NOT ACCEPT ZIP DISKS.

Artwork can be submitted in the following file formats: CPT (Corel Photo Paint), CDR (Corel Draw), DXF, TIFF, PLT, EPS, JPG or GIF. Computer artwork must also be in a PC format. We do not accept Macintosh files.

If you have no other alternative than to submit artwork on paper, it must be COLOR SEPARATED and CAMERA READY. Camera ready means sharp, black and white art. Color separations must be accompanied by PMS numbers where applicable. Artwork printed from desktop publishing or other computer based programs to ink jet printers cannot be accepted due to the sub standard quality of such printouts.

PLEASE REMEMBER that all artwork is not created equal. Artwork must meet the above guidelines in order to be used in our imprinting processes. All artwork submitted is subject to our approval. If your artwork does not meet our standards, additional art charges of $60.00 per hour with a one (1) hour minimum, will be billed to your credit card when we ship your order, and will appear as a separate charge on your credit card billing statement.

What if I don't have any artwork, and I want you do it?

If you do not have artwork available, we do offer a limited amount of graphic design services. Charges for these services are billed at $75.00 per hour, with a one (1) hour minimum. This charge includes one (1) paper proof prior to beginning production. This charge will be billed to your credit card when we ship your order, and will appear as a separate charge on your credit card billing statement.

PMS Color Matching

We offer most of our products in a wide variety of standard colors. Please see our color chart for details. All standard colors and basic metals are included in our regular price list. However, if one of our standard colors does not meet your needs, we will attempt to match PMS colors at no additional charge.
