Nameplate Distribution Setup Charges and Proofs

Setup Charges are charges that are incurred for us to design your name badge, plaque, award or other items. Setup involves taking artwork that you provide, along with the text for your item, and producing a layout that the final product can be created from.

In some areas of our site, setup charges are fixed, and are placed in your shopping cart during the order process. In other areas, setup charges are closely related to the specifics of a particular order. In the event a setup charge cannot be calculated without more information from you, it will not be billed to your credit card when you place an order on our online store. Setup charges of this nature will be billed to your credit card after you have approved a proof. Generally, our setup charges are as follows:

Hot Stamping

For hot stamping, there is one-time charge of $65.00 for the first color to be stamped. Additional colors are billed at a rate of $35.00 per color. These charges are to create the metal plate of your logo that is used in the hot stamping process.

Engraved Logos

If we are going to engrave your logo, setup charges are by product, and are disclosed on the product ordering pages.

ColorSeal™

For ColorSeal™ products, there is a one-time charge of $65.00 to set your art.

PLEASE REMEMBER, these charges are all based on our receiving artwork according to our artwork guidelines.

If a repeat order requires exactly the same art as a previous order, there is no additional setup, however, we only maintain artwork files for up to twenty-four (24) months after the date of your last order. If twenty-four (24) months elapses between orders, you will need to go through the setup process again.
